The CPA will be organising numerous poker tournaments throughout the island for both professional and amateur players. Tournaments provide an opportunity to enjoy the game in a sports format, safe, supervised by qualified Tournament Directors and coaches.

The CPA encourages, assists and lends support to poker players and poker clubs across the island. The CPA aims to enhance both the national and international status and appeal of the game as a skilled mind sport and to provide a variety of related information, ranging from tournament information to new legislation pertaining to poker.

The CPA is committed to professionalism in all poker tournaments nationwide and establishing certain standards to serve as a recommended model for all tournaments and poker clubs to follow. The CPA maintains relationships with media and charitable organisations, provides information to members and takes a stance in governmental affairs that may impact poker in Cyprus, and continue to further the integrity, longevity and success of poker in Cyprus.
